[About Princess Milica]
Worthy of glory and a very wise mother [Milica], who surpassed many chosen mothers, remaining, as Solomon says, a brave woman, she possessed all virtues, as known by all around her who have drawn mercy from her hand and who hoped to receive it. But being in such great power, she also knew worldly [matters] in which it is difficult to manage: and in beauty she was not only a woman, but also like many Odysseuses in counsel. And who can enumerate the divine and sacred adornments and gifts to churches and monasteries? Who would not marvel, seeing such [her]union with those who look towards the only God and how by deeds she surpasses commandments; and she advanced towards ever greater [deeds].
